Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

  • Registration is open to all optometrists, eye care professionals, academicians, opticians, and related healthcare practitioners.
  • By submitting your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes to the programme, speakers, venue, or schedule without prior notice.

2. Registration and Payment

  • All participants must complete the official registration form through the registration link provided.
  • Registration is confirmed only upon full payment of the applicable fee.
  • The registration fee includes:
    • Full access to all conference sessions and exhibitions
    • One (1) official delegate bag with conference materials (except registration for undergrad students)

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • All registrations are final and non-refundable. Once payment is received, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including cancellation, non-attendance, or partial participation.
  • Participants who are unable to attend may nominate a substitute and email to the 5th OSC 2026 Secretariat (5osc2026@gmail.com) at least 14 days before the event.
  • In the unlikely event that the conference is postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control (such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government directives), the Organizing Committee reserves the right to determine the most appropriate course of action, which may include rescheduling or transferring the registration to a future event.

4. Photography, Recording, and Media

  • The conference will be photographed and/or recorded for documentation and promotional use.
  • By attending, participants consent to being included in such materials, which may be used for educational or marketing purposes by the Organizing Committee.

5. Liability and Disclaimer

  • The Organizing Committee shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the conference or related activities.
  • Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • In the event of circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, the conference may be rescheduled, converted to a virtual format, or cancelled. Any decision made by the Organizing Committee shall be final.
