The 5th Optometry Scientific Conference 2026 (OSC2026) is the premier event organised by the Optometry Services Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia, in collaboration with the Persatuan Pascasiswazah Optometris Malaysia (PPOM). Scheduled for 4 – 5 July 2026 at the Bangi Avenue Convention Centre (BACC). Building upon the success of previous conferences, OSC 2026 continues to bring together optometrist, researchers, educators, vision scientist, students, and industry partners from across the region and beyond to exchange ideas and explore the latest developments in vision science.

With the inspiring theme “Vision 2030: Innovation Today, Transforming Optometry Tomorrow,” the conference focuses on how current advancements and collaborative innovations can shape the future of eye and vision care by the year 2030. The theme highlights the urgent need to embrace emerging technologies, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and translate scientific research into clinical solutions that improve visual outcomes and enhance quality of life.

OSC 2026 will feature an engaging programme that includes keynote addresses by international experts, scientific paper and poster presentations, and industry exhibitions showcasing the latest innovations in optometric practice, instrumentation, and education.
