Abstract Guidelines

General Requirement

1. Language: All abstracts must be written in English.

2. Word Limit: 250 – 300 words (excluding title, author details, and references).

3. File Format: Abstracts must be submitted in .docx (Word document) format.

4. Font & Formatting: Calibri, 9 pt, single-spaced.

5. Title: Bold, centered, max 20 words.

6. Author names: Full names, affiliations numbered, presenting author underlined.

7. Text structure: Justified alignment.

8. Keywords: Provide 3 – 5 relevant keywords separated by semicolons, without a full stop at the end. Font type: Calibri; Font size: 9.

9. References: Must follow APA 7th edition format (max 3 references).

Type of Abstract:

Please indicate the nature of your abstract by selecting one of the following:

  1. Original Research
  2. Case Study / Case Series
  3. Review / Literature Review
  4. Audit / Quality Improvement Project
  5. Innovative Practice or Clinical Technique
  6. Educational/Training Intervention
  7. Technical Development or Product Evaluation

Abstract Structure

Each abstract must follow this structured format:

✅ Title: Should clearly represent the study’s focus (max 20 words). Avoid abbreviations.

✅ Authors & Affiliations:
  – List full names of all authors.
  – Indicate affiliations (university/institution/organization).
  – Underline the presenting author.

✅ Abstract Body (250-300 words):
  – Background: Brief introduction & research rationale.
  – Methods: Study design, sample size, data collection, statistical analysis.
  – Results: Key findings with relevant data (use statistical values where   applicable).
  – Conclusion: Implications of findings & recommendations.

✅ Presentation Preference:
  – Oral Presentation
  – Poster Presentation

  – No Preference
